[Oh Kanaya don't be sad, Roxy is sure everything would have worked out by then, hah.]

So later then. [Looking around the apartment.] Should there be room here.

[MAN she hasn't done interior design in FOREVER ;A;]

Might I borrow some paper.

[Zooooom off she goes to grab a pad of paper. It's lined but w/e paper's paper. She even brought a pen!]
Here ya go.

[Sets to sketching... paces around the room a bit to get a better look, though even these casual steps are eerily fast. Fuckin' drinkers. She has an outline of the main room sketched fairly fast.]
no subject
You like all this sorta design-y stuff then?
no subject
[Something is taking shape... she leans against the corner of a table now, sketching out the new orientation for the party, seeming inspired.]
no subject
[Which causes her to sigh. Having windows set up would be so awesome, she could put them all over the town!]

But maybe your fenestrated planes are an easier possibility.
[What she's got is pretty simple, basically shoving all the items to the side in a way that doesn't block windows or doors and also makes the items interlock attractively, without any jutting corners or furniture enclaves. She's almost ready to show it to Roxy, though the talk about fenestrated planes is making her want to listen to the girl talk instead of getting up. They're so interesting.]

I mean they should work here, right? I dunno what would happen between them though, since obviously I wouldn't be traveling between the void.
no subject
[She shows the sketch to her now.] Does this seem acceptable.
no subject
[Immediately her focus shifts onto the sketches, taking a look at it, then the room, then back to the drawings.]
That'll work! Yeah.
no subject
[She meticulously tears the piece out and places it along with the pad and paper on the desk.] I trust this can be found again on the date in question.

[She distances herself from the materials. Hmm. She still needs to think of what to get Roxy for her birthday and the talk about fenestrated planes puts an idea into the back of her mind... true, the dress was already an extravagant gift, but such thinking is not the Maryam way, no ma'am.]

I wouldn't exactly be averse to that second option.

We can just go chill out in my room then if you want. Sure we can find something to do!
