[Sets to sketching... paces around the room a bit to get a better look, though even these casual steps are eerily fast. Fuckin' drinkers. She has an outline of the main room sketched fairly fast.]

It was a hobby of mine, back when I had a hive of my own. That was half a sweep ago, though, so there hasn't been much opportunity for me since.

[Something is taking shape... she leans against the corner of a table now, sketching out the new orientation for the party, seeming inspired.]

I miss my hobbies too. Drawing rooms and making clothes are a bit easier to do here though than cloning cats and building fenestrated planes though, unfortunately.

[Which causes her to sigh. Having windows set up would be so awesome, she could put them all over the town!]

Someone mentioned the possibility of sylladex replication to me the other day - they think the technology is specific to Alternia. I didn't mention that I'd known humans who had it... because other than those humans who've played Sgrub, non-trolls lack them without exception. I can't believe the Initiative doesn't even possess such a technology.

But maybe your fenestrated planes are an easier possibility.

[What she's got is pretty simple, basically shoving all the items to the side in a way that doesn't block windows or doors and also makes the items interlock attractively, without any jutting corners or furniture enclaves. She's almost ready to show it to Roxy, though the talk about fenestrated planes is making her want to listen to the girl talk instead of getting up. They're so interesting.]

Yeah I've not known anyone non-Sgrub of Sburb to have them. The windows though I pretty much built myself so ig I had the materials.. of course I don't have Skaianet power hubs here but I'm sure I can find a work around for that.

I mean they should work here, right? I dunno what would happen between them though, since obviously I wouldn't be traveling between the void.

I'm afraid the void was never my area of expertise... I always liked to work with space even before I found out it was my aspect.

[She distances herself from the materials. Hmm. She still needs to think of what to get Roxy for her birthday and the talk about fenestrated planes puts an idea into the back of her mind... true, the dress was already an extravagant gift, but such thinking is not the Maryam way, no ma'am.]
