Eh? Oh, no. I'm still shocked I agreed to a date in the first place. No, I meant more in the friend category. Not too used to those either, you know.

[She shook her head and took a swig, swirling the drink in her glass afterwards.]

So, since we're talking guys, how much do you know about this kismet thing of theirs? I mean, past just the rivals, fighting, hate-love thing. How's this suupposed to work?

I really dunno much about it. I mean I know what it's meant to be in theory, but fuck if I'd know how to actually go about it? I mean everything I know about it, I got told from Eridan.

Hah. Well, you know it wouldn't be all bad to know what it is he thinks is supposed to happen. It'd at least tell me what to expect.

It's mostly like human dating, I mean he said you still do things together but instead of sweet cute dates it's more.. you pick something you both like doing but want to compete in? At least that's the impression I got.

So, [sip] it's like it's a relationship, but instead of saying things like I love you and holding hands, we're clawing each other and throwing annoying little pet names?

[She chuckled and looked down at her drink, shaking her head.]

I see why Feferi didn't think Gam worked for me. I just wanted to beat him up. I actually think I could have fun with this with Eridan. I don't know if the crazy clown would've understood.

And uh, yeah. She was right. It's weird but from what I do know, you don't actually want to do any perma-damage or anything.

That, I am starting to understand. It really wouldn't make sense to go too far. Much as you're supposed to piss each other off, they're actually... important, aren't they?

[She glanced up at Roxy with a bit of a sneer on her lips, a chuckle there.]

So, does that mean for all you think he's kind of a tool and a dick, you actually care about Sollux?

...He's still a total jerk but I still somehow have a crush too. And I wouldn't want anything actually bad to happen to him.

Heh. [She wasn't going to burst her bubble. These rivalries had a way of getting loud. Roxy'd notice how obvious it was eventually.] My lips are sealed.

I guess maybe something that disturbs me a little about this is that I'm probably tapping into my other half a little to stay sane like I do with him. We're nasty to each other and violent kind of like she is, but it works since I can cheat a little with his regeneration.

But, if that doesn't all come out, I guess, I don't know... it's not such a bad thing?

[That made her snort and laugh after a clink and a longer drink than before. She probably drained a good third of the glass.]

Fuck if I know, honestly. We went on a date, and he told me I was 'his.' I get the feeling we're officially trying to be official or something like that. It's hard to tell with him, and I'm pretty damned damaged goods as is.

So, maybe yes? We're officially trying. That much I'm sure of.

[She looked down at her glass and grinned at it. There was a bit of an edge to the smirk while she tapped the rim. She was remembering something almost fondly for a moment.]

Hope he realizes I get that way too. Went to hell once to drag someone back because I wasn't through with them, and I hate that place. I'm still nervous, but if he's serious, he'd better be ready to put up with me for a while.
