Yeah, Finnick announced it a while back. I think they're still working on the date. And wasn't Castiel close to someone? I forget if they were dating or what...

Oh.. I don't think I know them. And I don't really know Castiel either, I'm afraid! Man, I'm really busting your 'Roxy knows everyone and everything' bubble today aren't I.

[She grinned and giggled.]

Maybe a little, but that's not a bad thing. It's hard to know everyone in this town, now isn't it? Besides, I'd never have any secrets from you if that were true.

True! So you have any secrets you're gonna share with me?

We're... we're still a thing. It's been tricky. I'm not sure how good at this whole kismesis thing I really am, or that he is for that matter. We're kind of dealing with the crazy shit in both our pasts, though he hasn't run off just yet.

[Another slug and a sigh.]

Just a heads up. I think Sollux's lost his patience with me for a bit. I'm giving him some space... Maybe a week or two.

Oh. Well I wouldn't know, I've kinda.. not really spoken to him much since the party and stuff. Aside from the time I went to yell at his dumbass for being dead.

Fef's gone, apparently. Let's just say he's not in the mood to talk to the girl who's making out with the one that killed her back in their world. I don't really blame him. Eridan and I, and hell Fef and I talked about it a little. I told him it's not fucking happening again here. [Slug. Oh wait, there went that drink and a quick coughing fit.]

Of course... I'm not going to hold it against him. We've both got blood on our claws. But yeah, I think Sollux'd rather not see my face for a little bit. I'm ok with that.

Oh... Yeah. She has. I hadn't really thought about what he'd feel about Eridan, to be honest I'd completely forgotten about that.

[She feels a little bad, and hopes Eridan hadn't done anything to piss him off.]

Yeah... [Shrug] The more I watch them, the more I think their violent sides make relationships a mess. You date one, and one of your friends is bound to hate their guts. Probably for a good reason. It's like walking into an angry beehive.

I'll manage. Sollux and Eridan can fucing fight like little knights if they want. I'm not Eridan's protector, and I'm not sticking my nose in this.

[She can't help but snort into a drink a little- beehive immediately made her think of Sollux, and his bees, and him just generally being a little angry bee.]

Yeah, I really wish they'd stop fighting but I doubt they will. And I see why it happens, I mean Eridan's my friend but he was still a total douchebag for what he did.

Pretty much just that. Like some of the things I've done when I was out of control... well, they made Eridan freak. He deserves to know what he's getting into though.

I'm not judging, but I can't blame those two or Kanaya hating his guts. They're like a giant war waiting to happen. How they don't end up killing each...

[Dawning of realization...]

Wait... they kind of did, didn't they?

Yeah. The killing thing kinda already happened, hence all the hatred for each other.

But it seems like death's no more permanent for them than it is for me. I don't know... I guess I'm more forgiving, as long as it isn't going to happen again.

[She shrugged.]

It's... harder to care about death when it isn't the end... even if that's not something I'd wish on anyone. But I guess I'm weird.

Yeah, sorry it is sorta weird. Like, I know I get killed like... half an hour or something later if I got sent back, and even if it's not permanent I'm still dreading it happening.

You kind of should. I... might be able to forgive someone that killed me, depending on what happened and what was coming after, but it's not like I actually enjoy dying.

How could you forgive someone for killing you? If you ask me that's pretty unforgivable.

I went crazy and killed him first? He wasn't in his right mind when I brought him back to life. My other side really did a number on that poor kid...

Lucky. [She looked over at her and frowned for a second, shrugging.] If we stay lucky, you don't ever have to know. Just... I'm kind of Dr. Jekyl and Miss Hyde. I can explain if you want to know. It's not like we haven't talked about enough as is.
